hello
Hi, I’m Vig — an architectural designer and educator based in Oregon.
I’m drawn to the process of design — the thinking, sketching, testing, and refining that turn ideas into spaces. Every step matters, and I approach each project with attention, curiosity, and care. For the past eight years, I’ve worked at the residential scale across Oregon, collaborating with homeowners, contractors, local developers, and fellow designers. I specialize in small-scale, detail-driven work — custom homes, ADUs, renovations, additions, and cottage clusters — guided by a design approach rooted in clarity and craft.
Alongside my practice, I teach a design studio at the University of Oregon’s School of Architecture & Environment, where I help students develop their own voices as designers and thinkers.
I run my practice from Eugene, where I live with my wife, our dog, and two cats.
